Vendor Fair and Associate Appreciation Day on Wednesday, August 16 at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. With nearly 300 employees attending the festivities, the associates celebrated the day with delicious food, extravagant prizes, arcade games and karaoke!
The day kicked off with our Vendor Fair. More than 20 business partners serving communities throughout the portfolio, as well as our shared services, came out to support Enterprise and handed out branded pens, bags and gear.
Following the Vendor Fair, employees moved to a nearby conference room to enjoy board and card games before the highly-anticipated raffle give-away. This year's prizes ranged from duffle bags, to gift cards, to tools, to an Apple Watch and a flat screen TV.
Our planning team provided us with an excellent lunch of salad, antipasto, veggies, grilled chicken, crab cakes, rolls, soup and a variety of desserts and beverages.
As lunch started to wind down, the afternoon's excitement began! Old-school arcade games were available to play and others enjoyed a 
free concert thanks to our karaoke loving colleagues. Employees were feeling the love and took advantage of not one, but two, photobooths (including a super cool 360 degree one!) to commemorate the day.
And even though many of us spent day away from our communities and offices, we still put RESIDENTS FIRST thanks to the planning committee who organized a silent auction. 50% of the proceeds raised from the sale of auction items were donated to our resident services work. Items included original artwork, drink tumblers, paintings from residents and even a handcrafted Maryland flag on a pallet. In all, $525 was raised to benefit our resident services programs. Way to go, Enterprisers!
Such an exciting day to connect and unwind. None of it would have been possible without our amazing team of colleagues working hard behind the scenes to make it all happen. We especially want to thank our Director of Engineering Walter Neighoff, Procurement Supervisor Kayla Matthew, Learning & Development Specialist Tenishia Tillery, Learning & Development Associate Raj Samaroo, VP of Shared Services Monica, Areford, Executive Assistant Jayme Filler, ECP Sr. Director of Events Andrea Russell, and Regional Managers 
who pitched in to help make the day a success.
