Residents of Park View at Oak Crest, a senior community in Harleysville, PA, had a special invitation from Pennsylvania State Rep. Donna Scheuren to visit the State Capitol in Harrisburg last week. The residents had a chance to sit in on a session of the House of Representatives and five veterans from their community were honored. After the tour of the State Capitol building, the residents were treated to a catered lunch.<\/p>\n

"Everyone who attended enjoyed the experience," said Talonda Cain, Property Manager at Parkview at Oak Crest. "For most of them, it was their first time at the capitol building."<\/p>\n

A very special thank you to Talonda Cain and Resident Services Coordinator Karen Cassel for organizing the lovely outing for the residents! We truly appreciate the opportunity to visit the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building!<\/p>\n
