St. Patrick's Day brought out creativity and rhyming abilities of Park View at Coldspring<\/a> residents for their poetry slam! About 17 residents attended to listen to their neighbors read original poems, with Property Manager Monique Oden as the event's MC.<\/p>\n

The community room was perfectly decorated with a green “lucky” banner, four-leaf clovers, green top hats and “Happy St. Patrick's Day” table toppers. Residents attended in their best and brightest green outfits and were given glow sticks and beads to shine during the festivities. As residents listened to each of the four unique pieces of poetry, they were given seven coins to drop in a bucket for their favorite poet. The resident with the most coins won a t-shirt! Congratulations! For their meal, they ate beef sausage with cheese, sauerkraut, croissants and sipped on green juice.<\/p>\n

“They were given snacks while they listened on in awe. This was so much fun and the residents said they thoroughly enjoyed the event," exclaimed Oden! <\/p>\n
