Resident Services pillar Enterprise Reads aims to increase access to and ""availability of literacy resources for residents. The initiative's intended goal is to put a book in the hands of each resident and provide them with opportunities to use the resources regularly.

Westminster Overlook residents listened to a presentation from a Carroll County Library representative who discussed a variety of bestsellers, feel good reads and to remind them of Bookmobile's monthly visits.

bookmobile is a van or truck that brings books and other resources to a community to increase literacy and improve access to further educational opportunities. They serve as a bridge to connect residents to regular library services without leaving their community.

About 16 residents had their book questions and inquiries answered about how Bookmobile works and the process of requesting books online. For those who requested them, the representative also assisted with signing residents up with library cards.
