Food insecurity remains a significant issue for many residents. Lack of nutritious food or access to nutritious food options impacts health, well-being, and economic stability. Households with low or limited incomes are particularly vulnerable to food insecurity. Inflation, high grocery prices, and barriers like a lack of transportation often leave households without the resources for healthy meals.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bPartners like the Maryland Food Bank play a crucial role in addressing these challenges by offering a lifeline to families who rely on these services to make it through difficult times. <\/p>\n

Over 40 families living at Cambridge Commons benefited from this most recent distribution, which included fresh produce such as apples, lettuce and potatoes, along with a selection of bread, pastries, and water. <\/p>\n

As we continue to navigate difficult times, it is more important than ever to recognize the value of our community partners and food distribution efforts coordinated by our resident services team. They represent more than just temporary solutions–they are an investment in the well-being of our communities and residents.
