Short for Gardening to Reduce Our Worries, Project G.R.O.W. was designed to support food security while offering residents the chance to grow healthy, nourishing produce right at home. Through hands-on learning, residents volunteered their time to help rebuild the garden space, learning valuable gardening techniques and skills along the way.

""During the restoration, LARS, Project G.R.O.W. staff, and resident volunteers installed trellises on Earth Boxes to prepare for vining plants. The energy was vibrant, and the excitement was shared by all—this wasn’t just a garden project, but a step toward wellness, connection, and sustainable community growth.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who participated and contributed their time, energy, and expertise to make this restoration possible. Your efforts continue to help the Park View at Laurel community grow, in every sense of the word.
