Resident Services Coordinator Kathy Craig created a happy hour for Westminster Overlook residents, filled with sharing stories, games, and a happiness survey! About 15 residents were given the opportunity to list what makes them happy in 60 seconds and the longest list won a prize. Coloring pages and word searches with a theme about happiness were given to each resident to do during the hour. Residents enjoyed an assortment of finger foods, including meatballs, cheese and crackers, desert, with punch to drink.  <\/p>\n

"Happy Hour was inspired by the fact that we had meetings on depression for several weeks, and I was tired of talking about what makes us unhappy and wanted to start talking about the things that make us happy," expressed Kathy. "I gave a small presentation on happiness and talked about that no matter what is going on in your life there is happiness in each day…just look for it."  <\/p>\n
