Westminster Overlook<\/a> residents' week was filled with presentations, an ice cream social and a special food delivery! $\"\"$ <\/p>\n

Last week on Thursday, Carrie Sorrenson of University of Maryland Extension Office in Carroll County shared her presentation “Scams and Not Becoming A Victim of a Scam” with residents at Westminster Overlook! About 22 residents were in attendance to discuss their own experiences with scams and ask questions on preventing them in future.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, residents were treated to an afternoon ice cream social! Residents chatted and ate their favorite flavors topped with sprinkles, chocolate and caramel syrup and whipped cream. <\/p>\n

"It may be chilly out, but that didn't stop our residents for coming down for an ice cream social. No matter what our residents love the sweets!" exclaimed Property Manager Shirley Hillman.<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ On Wednesday, Resident Services Coordinator Kathy Craig picked up and went door-to-door to deliver community residents a box of fresh vegetables. Kathy provides the residents with the service monthly to ensure they are receiving a variety of vegetables right to their doorsteps.<\/p>\n

"Kathy works with The Salvation Army USA and Maryland Food Bank to make this magic happen! Hats off to Kathy and the agencies providing this wonderful service to our residents!" thanked Property Manager Shirley Hillman.<\/p>\n
