Sector Based Workforce Program
Enterprise Community Development's (ECD) Sector-Based Workforce Program is designed to support individuals and families seeking better paying jobs through skill building paired with wraparound support. We anticipate this work will help put participants on career pathways leasing to upward mobility. During our three-year pilot period, we anticipate engaging 1,500+ residents and supporting 225 people who will complete the program and secure better paying jobs.
How We Will Achieve Impact
We believe the better model for job training starts with home. Home is where new futures begin, and when beginning from a place of affordability, stability, pride and belonging, we can help shape greater futures.
We created an integrated, streamlined and supportive approach built around home and residents. Our program model is centered on partnership with sector-based job training programs that have a proven record of success. We will recruit residents and match them with existing job training programs that align with their skills and interests.
Participation in these proven training programs operated by our partners will be complemented with Enterprise offering the following:
Career Navigators who focus on leveraging internal resources and external partnerships to successfully recruit, enroll, coach and case manage participants using mentorship and other best practices that help participants maximize their ability to succeed.
Participant incentives to strategically offer financial rewards and recognition that promote program completion and retention.
Comprehensive wraparound services and connection to essential resources such as childcare, transportation, technology and technology literacy training to further reduce barriers to success.
Special thanks to our partners!
