2024 Vendor Fair and Associate Appreciation Day

Enterprise Community Development celebrated our annual Vendor Fair and Associate Appreciation Day at Circle D Farm in Woodbine on Wednesday, August 14. The gorgeous weather set the tone for a day of festivities filled with delicious food, mini-golf games and socializing with fellow associates.

As attendees checked in, they were greeted and presented with their very own "swag bag" that included an Enterprise-branded towel, water bottle, an itinerary and an inspiring letter from Community Development President Janine Lind. Associates were even gifted lawn chairs to use during the day or the next time they go on vacation.

About 300 associates were in attendance for the day. To kick off the morning, vendors that serve the communities across our portfolio were eager to connect with employees and encourage them to utilize services offered. When speaking with our vendors next, please remember to thank them for their support and efforts to ensure our communities are well taken care of.

As the vendor fair portion of the day started to wind down, it was time for the raffle. Director of Engineering Walter Neighoff and Procurement Supervisor Kayla Matthew called out the names of lucky raffle winners. Prizes provided by vendors included coolers, wine baskets and a plethora of gift cards!

Lunch was provided by Circle D Farm and included hotdogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, macaroni salad, potato salad and baked beans.

As lunch concluded, it was time for games and conversation with fellow colleagues. Mini-golf, basketball, cornhole, large Connect 4 and Jenga, tabletop bowling and ring toss were favorites to play with old and new friends alike. As a special treat, dessert food trucks served cotton candy, a variety of Italian ice, vanilla ice cream, funnel cakes and even deep-fried Oreos and Milky Ways!

We especially want to thank the team of associates that brought the day to life. Thank you, Senior Learning and Development Specialist Melissa Fortson, Learning and Development Specialist Lauren Mott, Learning and Development Associate Raj Samaroo, Director of Engineering Walter Neighoff, Procurement Supervisor Kayla Matthew and Enterprise Community Partners Senior Director of Events Andrea Russell that contributed to a successful celebration.
