Spring Festivities at Park View at Coldspring

  |     |   Community Story, Event

Park View at Coldspring residents were treated to a “hopping” good time to celebrate the spring! The sunny afternoon was filled with laughter, games and a special visit from local vendors looking to spread spring cheer.

About 15 residents were greeted by a community room decorated in shades of bright purple, orange, blue and green. Upon arrival, residents selected a random color out of a basket and sat at the table with the matching color. Residents were given the opportunity to then meet new neighbors to work as a team for games.

Games for the afternoon included an egg hunt in the community's courtyard, guessing the number of cotton tails in a jar (represented by cotton balls) and bunny feud (Family Feud). Congratulations to Mr. Brown for finding the golden egg with a $50 Visa gift card, courtesy of Verizon!

“The kid in them was activated and they showed us a friendly competitive side we did not know they had,” exclaimed Assistant Property Manager Niecy Bowser!

6th District City Council candidate Ms. Robyn A. Christian and Verizon representative Ms. Carlita spoke to the residents during the afternoon. Both vendors brought goodie bags and delicious treats for each resident to enjoy!

Resident Services Manager Kellie Thomas provided a catered lunch from Wegmans which included croissant sandwiches, charcuterie board, fresh fruit and pin wheel rolls.
