Our communities take pride in providing residents with recent neighborhood updates and upcoming opportunities to take advantage of. Enterprise Residential's 2023 Community of the Year, Cherrydale, held their quarterly community meeting on Tuesday, June 4. 

The Community Liaison for Baltimore City Councilwoman Phylicia Porter for District 10, Nikki Fowlkes, gave a report on the latest legislative updates for the Cherry Hill area. The area recently has been bestowed the distinguished honor as the ‘Purpose Built Community,’ awarded by the Cherryhill Strong Coalition in conjunction with the Cherry Hill Development Corporation. About 20 Cherrydale community residents gave a resounding round of applause, as the honor deserved to be celebrated accordingly! 

The Charm City Circulator, the shuttle service for the Cherry Hill area, is aptly named the ‘Cherry Route.’ The route's latest additions include the Purple, Orange, Green and Banner routes. Beginning on June 23, the free bus service for Baltimore City residents and will connect with downtown Baltimore and the surrounding city areas. The new routes are much needed for the area, as they will provide an easy and convenient option for residents to travel without paying for bus fares.

Additionally, Fowlkes discussed information pertinent to the new supermarket in the works for the Cherry Hill area. Residents are also looking forward to Enoch Pratt Library’s Chrome book distribution, which will be coming to the Cherrydale community in the future. Fowlkes pointed out that the Baltimore City Digital Equity Fund will be a great resource for upcoming computer training, directly supporting the efforts of Resident Services' signature initiative Enterprise Connects
