Last month, 27 residents and staff from Essex House, Park Montgomery, Wardman Court, 1330 Apartments and Fort Stevens Place enjoyed a day trip to Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, Maryland.
Members of Enterprise's resident services team coordinated a trip for residents to attend a matinee at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament where they enjoyed a wonderful show of horseplay and gallantry while they brunched on the medieval style lunch and dessert.
Afterwards, many visited the shops and other entertainment at the mall before it was time to head back.
Residents appreciated the opportunity to socialize with other communities and make new friends. One resident was serenaded by a bus full of residents singing Happy Birthday to her which was a pleasant surprise.
The consensus was that the trip was a breath of fresh air after being socially isolated for nearly two years. Residents look forward to the next opportunity to get together.
