It's the end of August, so that could only mean one thing – it's time to head back-to-school for our younger residents! Our communities have had the opportunity to give away backpacks, engage in fun art activities, and enjoy a new kids' room at their residence.
On Friday August 19, Admiral Oaks held a backpack giveaway for about 50 of their residents ranging from elementary to high school aged children. They were able to select their own backpack and were very excited to do so! Thank you, Senior Property Manager Brenda Wilson, for organizing such a thoughtful event for your younger residents!
Highland Commons and The Residences at Highland Commons participated in backpack palooza, where they were given backpacks with school supplies for the new year. Canned goods were also collected for the local food pantry and the kids even had the opportunity to create some artwork to take home. Thank you, Property Manager Lori Hertl, for participating the REACH Resident event for the month of August!
Red Run Overlook transformed their third-floor storage room into a kids' room for their young residents to learn and play. Assistant Property Manager Tina Rantin and her daughter painted the artwork on the walls in the room! Thank you for the beautiful artwork, Tina!
