Somerset Commons and Reserve at Somerset Commons I & II school-age
d residents were treated to a pizza party for receiving improved grades in school. The communities partner with Xfinity, who purchased the pizza for the children, making for an enjoyable afternoon!
Each Somerset Star received a certificate and was celebrated for their excellent work. The incentive party occurs every semester throughout the school year, with different incentives for each semester.
“To see their excitement and to have someone outside of their household tell them that is really great," exclaimed Senior Property Manager Lakeshia Pinder-Jackson.
Both children and parents really enjoyed this event. The goal of the Somerset Stars incentive is to push all kids to improve in education. To receive the incentives, there is no restriction on end of the semester grades to encourage the students to continue excel during the school year.
"These are our Somerset Stars…our future leaders," said Pinder-Jackson. "I'm so proud of each and every one of them."
