ommunities are always finding ways to celebrate and recognize their residents! In May, Enterprise Residential was invited to participate in the Age My Way Walk event to commemorate Older American’s Month. The month is dedicated to recognizing the endless contributions that older Americans create in our society and communities.
The event was held at the Wiley Bates track. Nine participants walked three miles and one resident who joined in on the fun with her wheelchair. Residents were encouraged to track their steps on a smart watch, phone, or own their own. Following the walk, residents participated in stretching exercises to help end the day on a positive note. 
We want to thank all the residents that participated and wanted to congratulate Wiley Bates for winning the challenge! A tasty dinner was provided to the Wiley Bates team to celebrate their efforts. The residents were so motivated that they vowed to continue walking in the hallways of Wiley Bates on a regular basis due to the heat but will return to the track in the fall.
