The weather may be changing, but that does not mean it's too late to 
celebrate the beautiful fall. Allendale and Taney Village residents enjoyed their fall festivities consisting of parties, good food and exciting crafts!
Allendale residents had their own Oktoberfest event to celebrate the popular German festival! Residents feasted on bratwursts with curry ketchup and enjoyed sides including German potato salad, sauerkraut and pretzels with assorted mustards. Dessert was a variety of German candy, Bavarian cookies and mini pastries. Of course, it would not be Oktoberfest without birch beer, root beer, a hops beverage and pumpkin spiced cider!
To continue a yearly tradition, Taney Village created their very own community scarecrow! About 25 residents participated in stuffing, dressing and decorating the scarecrow that they decided to name 'Sam.'
