Our communities had an exciting week playing bingo, decorating candy canes, and connecting with each other in a newfound community space!
Westminster Overlook residents never turn down the opportunity to participate in
exciting holiday activities, especially bingo! About 30 residents were dressed festively in red and green and were ready to play bingo. They were eager to win fun prizes including lit trees, ornaments, candy, holiday socks, lit holiday houses, and baskets filled with treats. All residents received a gift from the prize table!
"Our residents have grateful, giving hearts and if they win a second time, they will make sure to give that gift to the person that had not won," said Property Manager Shirley Hillman.
To continue the holiday cheer, last Friday, residents got to enjoy making reindeer candy cane crafts and told fun stories about the holiday’s past!
Red Run Overlook held their grand opening for their Kiz Korner! The Korner was created over the summer and last week, the children in the community were able to enjoy some fun activities, including using the chalk wall, arts and crafts, reading, and puzzles. About 25 children were in attendance and ate pizza and holiday cookies in the community room to celebrate!
