Paint and sip activities have never been more popular. On Sunday, February 26, senior residents at Park View Randallstown in Randallstown, MD, participated in their community's latest artistic endeavor, Sip N Paint. Enterprise Residential Property Manager Tracy Jones hosted and organized this trendy event with the help of fellow associate, Jean F Dudley Etienne, to create an enjoyable and creative experience for residents to engage in guided creativity, relaxation, and a sip or two of delicious beverages while listening to a variety of R&B artists like Brian McKnight.
A total of 38 residents participated in Sip N Paint, creating beautiful renderings while indulging in mocktails and fresh mixed fruit.
For this event, the community room was decorated with white and blue balloons, and everything residents needed to create something beautiful was supplied, such as brushes, paint, etc.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they were allowed to choose what they wanted to paint from four outlined images provided by Jones, which included sunset scenery, lotus flowers, a woman in a headwrap, and a woman in an oversized beach hat.
“This activity was very joyous. Nothing but smiles. Everyone had a wonderful time,” said Jones. “Some residents wanted me to show off their paintings, and I did, which made them happy because the room was admiring their canvases.”
Jones shared that one resident struggled to hold a paintbrush, so her daughter sat with her and guided her through the process, and she did it!
The Sip N Paint event was such a successful and memorable experience that Jones received great positive feedback from residents. Residents are looking forward to another paint-and-sip activity in the future.
