Residents Receive Meals for No Senior Eats Alone Day

  |     |   Community Story, Event

Our Enterprise Healthy Eats program, one of our five core service areas, focuses on aiming to provide healthy food as well as access to health and nutritional resources. For No Senior Eats Alone Day on September 14 and to further educate residents on the food sources available to them, we had multiple communities receive lunch or dinner for residents from local participating restaurants. Park View at Catonsville had barbecue chicken, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and corn bread. Park View at Dundalk had Jersey Mike's Subs for lunch – healthy and delicious turkey, ham, cheese and veggies!

With No Senior Eats Alone Day, the Baltimore County Department of Aging's goal is to help make older adults feel valued and connected, establish better eating habits, and improve nutrition and health. They encourage communities and local partners to host a special meal with activities and entertainment through a community center or simply share a meal with an older adult that you work or volunteer with.

If you or someone you know is interested Park View at Catonsville, Park View at Dundalk or an Enterprise Residential community, please contact us at 443-451-6800 or [email protected].
