Wednesday was extra sweet for Westminster Overlook! Resident Services Coordinator Kathy Craig made sloppy joe for lunch and bought coleslaw and chips as sides. For dessert, an ice cream sundae station was set up where residents were able to select from a variety of toppings and enjoyed their own sweet creations.
Park View at Coldspring celebrated Valentine's Day with a spectacular "par-tea!" Around 15-17 residents attended the event dressed in festive hats, dainty pearls and colorful Valentine's Day attire. They were served delicious pin-rolls, chips, cakes, doughnuts and cupcakes with their choice of flavored or plain tea. The ladies and gentlemen enjoyed light conversation, soft music and a raffle. Prizes were awarded to the resident with the best hat, which was voted on by the attendees.
"This was such a beautiful and elegant time and they have already started asking when the next one will be. Once again, our team worked together and put together yet another memorable event," expressed Assistant Property Manager Neicy Bowser.
