As origami is a relaxing activity to participate in with 
fellow neighbors, Park View at Fullerton residents took the afternoon to use their artistic skills to create several beautiful pieces.
As residents gathered in the community room to participate in the workshop, they were greeted with origami paper with a beautiful array of colors and designs. Residents followed close and careful instructions to create planes, swans, cranes, frogs and other unique creations.
Each resident admitted that it was not easy at first, but that the activity further assisted with establishing and building a strong sense of community. At the end of the workshop, they felt comfortable with seeking help from one another.
“It was an opportunity to work as a team and implement their strengths and ideas to complete the task. And of course, they also loved the refreshments and their free giveaways. I am now receiving requests on having a second origami workshop,” said Assistant Property Manager Marian Panameno.
