Park View at Miramar Fall Festival

  |     |   Community Story, Event

As the transition from summer to autumn has become apparent through the change in the weather and color of the leaves, Middle River community Park View at Miramar Landing hosted its first Fall Festival including a relaxing paint session, special flea market and refreshments.

While jazz music played in the background, residents put their best artistic skills to work to paint sunsets and fall landscapes. During the paint session, apple and sparkling cider, fall decorated cupcakes and a cheese platter were served to snack on for the 24 residents in attendance. Several residents expressed their gratitude with special sentiments to the site team including “we needed this” and “this hit loneliness on the head!”

Following the painting session, the members of the property management team set up a mini flea market that saw about 45 residents throughout the afternoon. Two residents offering special handmade crafts, including jewelry and other precious crafts, had the opportunity to sell items at a reasonable price to their neighbors. Hot dogs, chips, popcorn and fall-decorated desserts were served to enjoy.

“It was nice seeing all the residents gathered together sharing stories and laughing together," said Assistant Property Manager Elsie Panameno."It was a wonderful experience for the community.”
