Metro Heights Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Metro Heights Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

  |     |   Community Story, Event

As October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, on Thursday October 24, Baltimore community Metro Heights at Mondawmin held a breast cancer awareness walk and brunch for the residents.

Property Manager I'esha Thomas and Assistant Property Manager Karae Dower wanted to celebrate colleagues who are currently fighting the disease and to honor those who they have unfortunately lost.

Prior to the walk, the team provided residents with an assortment of pink and white accessories, which included head bands, bracelets, pens and water bottles. For brunch after the walk, fruit, waffles, chicken, fish, potatoes, eggs, juice and strawberry cupcakes were served.

To conclude the event, resident Ms. Jordan, a three-year breast cancer survivor, received a special gift box from the site team. She was brought to tears, emotional from the kind gesture.

A special thank you to Property Manager I'esha Thomas, Assistant Property Manager Karae Dower and the Metro Heights team for organizing an inspiring and impactful event for breast cancer awareness.
