Winter has been nothing short of exciting for residents at Westminster Overlook. A full week of Thanksgiving feasts and musical performances set the tone for a cozy and joyful winter.
For Thanksgiving, 80 turkey lunches from Bob Evans were served. The custom meals included mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, string beans, rolls and pie for dessert.
On a chilly afternoon, residents were surprised by the singing and dancing talents of the world-renowned talents of musician Elvis and enjoyed some light refreshments including fresh fruit, vegetables, cookies, tea and lemonade.
The musical performances did not stop there. About 20 members of the Old-Line Statesman Chorus came to sing a variety of holiday songs during an evening concert. The chorus serenaded the community and even included the musical talents of resident Margaret McCulloch.
Special thanks to Property Manager Shirley Hillman, Assistant Property Manager Deb Odachowski and Resident Services Coordinator Kathy Craig for organizing phenomenal winter events!
