Moving into a brand-new community evokes a variety of emotions, including excitement and genuine happiness. It also sparks the beginning of building lasting relationships with neighbors. As a special sweet welcome for residents, La Plata community Magnolia Gardens recently held their first event – an ice cream social.
About 40 residents were in attendance to enjoy a variety of ice cream, including Italian ice, ice cream cups, sundae cones, ice cream sandwiches, and fruit popsicles. The chilly and tasty assortment was perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
As a relaxing activity, residents were invited to complete crossword puzzles and coloring sheets. With summer right around the corner, wind chimes in the shape of flowers, hearts, and butterflies were decorated to hang outside of windows and apartment doors.
Kudos to Property Manager Te'arria Strozier and the Magnolia Gardens site team for hosting their first community event! What an exciting event to welcome residents to the community and to meet fellow neighbors!
