Creating Convenience & Empowering Residents

  |     |   Community Story

In the hustle and bustle of modern life, convenience often comes at a premium. Resident Services Manager Michele Mitchell is doing something about it and empowering residents along the way.

In 2018, Mitchell was a property manager for the Greens at Rolling Road located in Catonsville, Md. In that role, she had an opportunity to connect with Miss Tanya. Miss Tanya is the inspiration behind I RACKED UP–a unique concept that brings and sells household items and goods into communities for residents.

Mitchell said I RACKED UP offers household items at a savings of $1-5 per item, ensuring residents have access to quality products without emptying their wallets. And Miss Tanya's commitment to her customers means residents have a convenient way of accessing the items
they need and want in their own communities.

The experience is empowering for residents, especially seniors, for whom accessing essential items might be challenging for a host of reason like a lack of transportation or mobility challenges that make carrying bags difficult.

Every month, I RACKED UP visits a number of Enterprise properties offering essential goods and providing residents who may have limited choices in where they can shop near their homes another option–one that's safe and convenient.

If there's something a resident needs and Miss Tanya doesn't have it in stock, she goes above and beyond to make sure they get it sometimes even making a special, second trip back to a community to assist and support a resident in need. Residents know and look forward to Miss Tanya's visits and come prepared with baskets and carts to grab what they need for their homes.
