The summer is the perfect time to gather and celebrate time spent with neighbors with an indoor carnival! Hickory Ridge and Park View at 
Snowden residents enjoyed an afternoon of games, a variety of prizes and classic carnival eats.
As the events began, residents at both communities were invited to play bean bag toss, skee ball and foam ball shooting. Participants had their eyes on the prize and had the opportunity to win teddy bears, crossword puzzles, journals, soup bowls, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, handheld fans and water bottles.
As a special prize, each community offered the chance to win a new pet goldfish. At Park View at Snowden, residents received a raffle ticket, with the overall winner taking home the fish. Hickory Ridge residents were eligible to win the goldfish when they tossed soft balls into the glass bowls.
Food was a plenty, as residents at both communities were served hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, fried chicken, mac and cheese, pasta salad and corn on the cobb. Dessert included Rita's Italian Ice, mango and Swedish Fish.
