As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we are proud to share the activities our communities participated in to recognize survivors and loved ones and fiends that were lost to
breast cancer. On Thursday October 13 for Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Highland Commons and The Residences at Highland Commons participated in a gathering. They celebrated and uplifted cancer survivors and those who have lost someone close to them, whether it was a friend or family member. Residents wore pink ribbons and enjoyed drinks, snacks and love and support from their fellow neighbors.
Hollins House held their pumpkin painting celebration on Tuesday October 18. About 18 residents enjoyed music, painted their pumpkins pink, ate pink cupcakes and took home goodie bags.
