residents and site associates for an afternoon of unity, education, and celebration.
Residents were treated to a delicious array of foods consisting of hot dogs, cheeseburgers, meatballs, rice, seafood salad, baked beans, green beans, potato salad, and deviled eggs. Refreshing watermelon and sweet cupcakes were served for dessert.
The event brought together the children and grandchildren of those residing at the community to learn more about the historical significance of the holiday. A key highlight of the afternoon was an informative and compelling Juneteenth presentation prepared by resident Darlene Gilbert. Residents also received a Juneteenth-themed trinket as a giveaway gift.
The residents also had the pleasure of surprising one of their new fellow neighbors by celebrating her June 19 birthday with her family.
The resident’s contribution added depth and meaning to our gathering, reminding us of the importance of reflection, recognition, and continued progress.
Special thanks goes out to Senior Property Manager Nikki Jackson, Maintenance Supervisor Robert Fisher, Maintenance Apprentice Rodell McLaughlin, and Resident Services Manager Michele Mitchell who worked together to host a warm and welcoming cookout for all to enjoy.
Celebrations for culturally significant holidays strengthen a sense of community and reflect a shared commitment to honoring the past while building a more inclusive future.

Upon entry, residents were interviewed as they walked the red carpet and expressed what they were looking forward to during the awards, along with the designer they selected to wear. One resident said he was wearing a Givenchy suit and mentioned that he was excited to see all the winners.
Resident Services Senior Director of Programs and Performance Raven Willoughby hosted the awards soirée. The seniors were delighted that Willoughby was involved, with several thanking her for visiting the community and appreciating her presence.
Coldspring's maintenance team dressed in fancy shirts and sported bow ties while serving hors d'oeuvres consisting of meatballs, cheesesteak egg rolls, mac and cheese bites, and pigs in a blanket. For dessert, a decadent cake and cupcakes were served.
During the ceremony, residents were on the edge of their seats to see who would be winners of a coveted senior award, with a grand total of 10 presented. While accepting his award, 96-year-old Mr. Thomas cried and exclaimed, "this was the best day of my life."
Two surprise awards were given to residents that go above and beyond for their neighbors with gestures of kindness, including either making runs to the grocery store or numerous visits to ill neighbors.
The event concluded with music, dancing, and heartfelt gratitude to Coldspring's site associates for an elegant and exceptional event.

A Father's Day themed sports luncheon was the perfect opportunity to gather and celebrate the gentlemen in the community. Tasty bites including wings, fries, and cakes were served while streaming football, basketball, and baseball highlights. They played a variety of card games and even participated in a basketball tournament where the winner received a championship ring. Each attendee was gifted a card by the site associates and they thoroughly valued the kind gesture.
As an expression of gratitude for the site team, residents prepared a lunch consisting of crab cakes, potato salad, garden salad, and string beans. Homemade pound cake and banana cream pie for dessert had the team singing the praises of the residents for their phenomenal baking skills.
After lunch, a gift and note with kind remarks from the residents were presented to each of the associates. Anecdotes on how much they truly appreciate the team and how they love living in the community were shared leaving smiles on every face in the room.
“The entire team was shocked and surprised by the kind gesture, how beautiful and elegant the table setting was, as well as how delicious everything tasted. soothing music and chatting with friends. In celebration of Mother's Day and in honor of all the incredible women in their community, the team at Park View at Randallstown treated residents to a special afternoon of painting, laughter, and connection.
Each artist received a canvas featuring the image of a beautiful woman to paint, along with an easel, smock, brushes, paint trays, and their choice of colors to create a piece they could proudly display in their apartment homes. The ladies complimented fellow tablemates throughout the afternoon, ensuring that everyone in attendance appreciated each artistic creation.
To accompany the activity, a delicious lunch was served including a variety of sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw, cupcakes and sparkling cider. As a thoughtful surprise, each participant received a gift bag courtesy of the community's dedicated site.
“As a token of our appreciation, they were given hand lotion and chap stick," said Property Manager Corrine Sye. “Each lady expressed their gratitude and happiness and stated how this was a relaxing and stress-relieving event.”
Kudos to Sye and the associates at Park View at Randallstown for organizing a sip and paint for Mother's Day and sharing the artists' lovely creations. It was truly an enriching event to recognize and celebrate all the women who help make the community a place of pride, power and belonging everyday.

excitement and genuine happiness. It also sparks the beginning of building lasting relationships with neighbors. As a special sweet welcome for residents, La Plata community Magnolia Gardens recently held their first event – an ice cream social.
About 40 residents were in attendance to enjoy a variety of ice cream, including Italian ice, ice cream cups, sundae cones, ice cream sandwiches, and fruit popsicles. The chilly and tasty assortment was perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
As a relaxing activity, residents were invited to complete crossword puzzles and coloring sheets. With summer right around the corner, wind chimes in the shape of flowers, hearts, and butterflies were decorated to hang outside of windows and apartment doors.

On April 16, Enterprise Residential team members came together at Park View at Taylor for the latest stop on the Gratitude Tour—a meaningful day focused on connection, recognition, and appreciation.
The event kicked off with a fun icebreaker activity creatively combined with Bingo, coordinated by Senior Director of Human Resources Kim Campbell. Team members engaged with colleagues they may not typically work with to complete their boards—a lighthearted yet impactful way to spark conversation, build new connections, and learn something new about one another.
Throughout the afternoon, we celebrated the incredible work happening across 14 Enterprise communities, which together serve nearly 1,500 residents, many of whom have called our communities home for over six years. The dedication and passion of our teams were on full display.
The program also featured remarks from Community Development President Janine Lind, who recognized standout achievements from several communities. Park View at Fullerton was applauded for maintaining 98% occupancy while fostering a warm, welcoming environment. Park View at Miramar Landing was commended for hosting 13 resident meetings since the start of the year—a testament to their commitment to resident engagement. Park View at Towson was celebrated for achieving near-full occupancy, zero delinquency, and outstanding participation in social events. At Evergreen Senior, the team was acknowledged for distributing $32,000 worth of food this year, exemplifying our values to serve with compassion and care.
We extend our deepest thanks to every on-site team member who keeps our properties running smoothly each day, and to our leadership and colleagues who contributed their time and energy to bring this event to life.

and Regional Resident Services Manager Michele Mitchell, Woodlawn community Greens Rolling Road and Dundalk community Greens at Logan Field were fortunate to receive grocery boxes through their Groceries on the Go program.
Food insecurity continues to impact residents of several Enterprise communities. Inflation and barriers surrounding transportation to local stores can prevent residents from obtaining a week’s worth of food. Groceries on the Go aims to actively provide vital support monthly, ensuring ongoing nourishment and relief for residents at Rolling Road and Logan Field.
The Salvation Army is a long-time partner of Enterprise and continues to deliver and distribute nutritious and healthy food options throughout the communities. Their partnership and unwavering dedication to assisting residents is greatly appreciated.
Since the implementation of the Groceries on the Go program, Margolius and Mitchell have successfully registered and distributed grocery boxes to over 50 residents across both communities. Each box was carefully packed with essential food items, including canned salmon, a variety of canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, milk, juice, cheese and other healthy selections.
“Because of Pinny’s relentless dedication and commitment, we are now in the process of expanding this invaluable program to additional properties in my portfolio. Once again, I am proud to work for a company that truly puts Residents First,” expressed Mitchell.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Mitchell and Margolius for approaching the impacts of food insecurity with an incredibly much-needed program. We hope that Groceries on the Go will be the catalyst that sparks the conversation surrounding the demand for programs that focus on access to nutritious meals across local low-income populations and communities.
