Westminster Overlook held their first kitchen fire safety meeting for the 
year! A representative from the local fire department presented useful information to residents and passed out flyers with microwave safety tips, loose clothing fire risk and flammable items that could fall onto the burners. A sample fire pull station was used to demonstrate the push in and pull-down feature that is new to many of our residents. Residents were able to pass it around to become familiar with how it functions.
“Many excellent topics were brought up topics were brought up that you don’t regularly think about. We also discussed our next fire drill which will happen in April,” said Property Manager Shirley Hillman.
