As an official kick-off to the fall season, Park View at Columbia recently hosted their 
bi-monthly tea and coffee hour and partnered with one of the Employee Resource Groups (ERG) of Xerox for a turkey giveaway.
On a beautiful brisk November morning, residents were invited to the community room for a breakfast of seasonal pastries, assorted fruits and a variety of flavored coffee and tea. Residents used the opportunity to catch up with fellow neighbors for friendly conversation and hot beverages.
“It's such a joy to see them gather in our community room to fellowship with one another while enjoying a ‘sweet treat’ and listening to smooth jazz," exclaimed Assistant Property Manager Shaunte Shelton. Kudos, Shaunte, for the thoughtful tea and coffee breakfast.
In the spirit of the giving season, an Employee Resource Group (ERG) of Xerox generously donated 25 turkeys to the community. Resident Ms. Perez-Williams established the connection with one of the ERG Groups of Xerox that focuses on community service and outreach programs within the state of Maryland.
Special thanks to resident Ms. Perez-Williams and Property Manager Karen Miller for connecting with the group to ensure the community's residents had fresh turkeys for Thanksgiving. We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday with friends, family and loved ones.
